In 2014, Hongik University implemented changes in all aspects of the university–the department's curriculum, the form of Graduate Exhibition, and an environmentally–friendly approach.

I created an identity to commemorate these epochal and innovative movements. Rather than creating a singular symbol, I had collected hundreds of lines representing individuals. From there, I designed them to resemble a large black mass which would present the community's potential. Intending to show persistence and diversity among students, I placed the mark against a color–background field varying from red to blue. The shape of black mass was made of silkscreen and the background color was made from offset printing, which was an accumulation of more than 48 hours of printing.
